Mad Chemist

Alkylyst is a biodiesel initiative in the Queen’s University Chemistry Department. The brand’s new logo combines chemistry and sustainability through the use of a molecular structure typography and green color palette to encapsulate the mission of Alkylyst as well as introduces the viewer to the science behind it.

The Alkylyst website was created to educate the community about biodiesel, to display progress on the project, and to provide resources on the topic. The new website has an organized flow, structured layout, and cohesive design that continues to reinforce the mission behind Alkylyst.
